DescriptionOur client, a leading FTSE 50 CPG firm, is looking to hire a Global Vendor Manger. The successful candidate will optimise the performance of the global service desk / application support through effective vendor management. You will also work with suppliers to identify and implement opportunities for service improvement. The role will also include a strategic review of Global Vendor(s) You will be responsible for- the delivery of agreed work products, resources, expertise and guidance in order to::- Analyse and review vendor performance against contract and agreed SLAs- Manage vendor governance to ensure performance issues are addressed and relationship is effectively managed- Work with vendor to identify and implement opportunities for service improvement- Manage negotiations and contracting with vendor- Actively drive minimisation of total cost of ownership- Ensure effective evaluation of business risks and issues related to operational incidents, potential application changes and internal audit reports. Implement appropriate risk management processes and take appropriate and timely actions.Skills and Experience- Breadth of knowledge of best practice IT Service Management best practice (ITIL) - Degree educated with significant experience in business facing IT role.Competitive SalaryRelocation package available.
