On behalf of a Global Leader we are currently looking for a Senior Global IT Manager to focus on Product, Quality and New Product Introduction and to be based in London (Remote) with travel to Poland (when possible).
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To manage the provision of Information and Digital Technology transformation services and support to the Operations functions of Product, Quality and NPI to support the New Category transformation agenda. Partner directly with Product, Quality and NPI leadership team members to manage transformation and improvement demand for IT across Product-related PLM, the digitalisation of Quality moving to sensing and proactive, and the implementation of cloud-based project management solutions supporting their New Product Introduction (NPI).
ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Fully understand Operations IT strategy, expected outcome, deliverables and value that needs to be generated from Technology;
•Work with the leadership teams of Product & Quality, and NPI respective to shape the long-term IT roadmap and strategy for how technology will support business improvement and transformation
•Manage the delivery of business value from technology transformations across Product, Quality and NPI, ensuring on-time delivery, to budget and to expectation
•Ensure effective integration across digital initiatives in the Product, Quality and NPI space to manage ROI and delivery of a cohesive digital transformation
•Intakes, evaluates and prioritises the demand and new requests from business teams, working with requisite solution, architecture and integration experts across the Group to recommend actions
•Actively participates in the leadership teams of Product & Quality and NPI to represent IDT, report on transformation progress and ensure continued stakeholder support
•Works with the IT Portfolio team and Delivery Managers to ensure all projects under the role’s remit have on-budget delivery of IT delivery efforts through close tracking of budget and forecast spend, pro-actively recommending opportunities to maximise the ROI of project budgets
•Actively monitors and adjusts activities, resources and plans to support successful project execution.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
•Degree Educated, with 9-12+ years post graduate work experience working with complex IT projects delivering value in the areas of Product Development in an FMCG environement
•Demonstrable experience of management of complex, large-scale multi-million pound IT projects delivering on-time, on-budget and with the desired or better business outcomes
•Robust teamwork demonstrated both within and outside the IT function - Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary matrix teams, with internal and external participants
•Excellent executive communication skills to support effective engagement (adapting structure, tone and detail for different audiences)
•Demonstrated ability to influence and shape strategic decisions: role will require development of longer-term strategies for digital transformation which will require alignment with business executive teams
•Ability to orchestrate and manage a complex landscape of delivery partners: experience of working in a large global organisation using in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers to deliver cloud-based SaaS solutions is mandatory
•Experience and awareness of the typical requirements for successful solution integration, data management and systems implementation (i.e. SIT, UAT, cutover and support)
•Experience in some or all of our areas of transformation in a consumer-facing product context (i.e. FMCG, electronics, pharms): Product Lifecycle management, Quality management and assurance, New Product Introduction
•Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to plan own work to meet overall goals and objectives.
