Programme Panning Lead - IT

A top global organization is looking for a Programme Planning Lead to join their London team being part of a large IT deployment.

The role will look after numerous workstreams and deployments.

Accountabilities:

  • Drive the creation of workstream plans
  • Create and maintain an overall Programme plan
  • Highlight and manage dependencies and risks within the Programme and other Programmes
  • Share plans in multiple governance forums
  • Chair meetings as required
  • Drive the Change request process ensuring Impact assessments are completed on time
  • Complete programme highlight reports

Skills Required:

  • Extensive project planning experience in large IT/Business transformation programmes
  • Ability to engage with all workstream leads to produce detailed project plans
  • Able to produce dependency log of key cross-workstreams dependencies
  • Able to produce change control for main programme level plan changes
  • Able to summarise and communicate programme plan for project team and stakeholders
  • Able to focus on key milestones and understand impact if moves
  • Able to lead key governance meetings where required
  • Understanding of key project risks and issues arising from the plan (and track, report)
  • Ability to interpret workstream plans and integrate into summary programme plan
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet stretching timelines
  • Experience with Track and Trace highly desirable
