On behalf of a Global Leader we are currently looking for a Senior IT Business Partner with a focus on the Corporate Functions (Finance / Human Resources). This is not a delivery role, the focus will be on delivering business value through the adoption of new and emerging technologies via working with the Global Heads of Functions and communicating the solutions that the functions need to deliver.


• Strategic business interface with relevant boards / functions
• Linking business goals and benefits to IT solutions, coordinate the development of strategic investment plans
• Ensure effective stakeholder relationships with the Business and IT - provide the voice of IT in the Business Unit and voice of the Business unit within IT
• Provide effective challenge to the business to balance priorities of the business unit and global strategies and plans
• Trusted, strategic advisor to the business
• Understand the relevant IT landscape and proactively drive activities to provide insights to the business and to optimise the strategic application of IT and the exploitation of IT assets
• Oversee the creation and sign off of an IT Account Plan (including IT projects, critical BAU IT activity, IT service improvement and IT cost )
• Effective governance of end market patterns in order to :
o Ensure implementation of the global IT strategy in the business
o Performance of relevant IT vendors / service providers.
o Ensure compliance with global policies and standards, including: organization, processes, risk and compliance measures and controls
• Act as ultimate escalation point for IT which cannot be resolved through BU IT management


• Experience of leading IT / business engagement for a geographical area / large end market / global function
• Experience of leading, influencing and operating in a complex geographical/ functional matrix organization
• Considerable functional change management experience with advanced stakeholder and risk management
• Good grasp of business models and components, IT business system landscape and roadmap
• People leadership of large, culturally diverse virtual teams
